Why I Did This
I made this website for one reason. I wanted all actors who were trying to break into the buisness to have a website where they could get the information they needed to be successful. When I was trying to figure out how everything in the acting world worked, I was very confused. I didn't really understand anything. I couldn't find a website that would explain to me everything I needed to know. Instead I gathered little bits here and there, and I became very frusturated. It was like doing a huge puzzle, only to find out some pieces were missing. I wanted to make this site so that other actors could get everything they needed, from one source. Instead of paying an arm and a leg for every thing, I wanted my information to be available to everyone. Trust me, you will need all the money you can get for later expenses. I would like everyone to take notice that this is not the only approach to acting. There have been millions of ways that people have gotten into the biz. This is just the mainstream way that people get in. If your aunt is an agent or you have a connection, TAKE IT! Don't always follow my advice, or anyone elses. Have fun with this! My 5 - Step Plan
I have devised an effective plan that I *hope* will also work for you. It is the basic five steps any actor takes in order to achieve his or her own goal. I have tried to keep things simple, and always remember that this is not set in stone. If life changes, go with a new plan! I just want this information to be available to all. |
